The CIU is a User Interface Unit containing a keyboard and display, designed using the latest technology, for installations of bi-body meters when they are installed out of the user’s reach or do not have an integrated keyboard display.<\/p>\n
The CIU communicates with the meter using PLC technology, meaning it uses the internal network wiring of the customer’s home. This highly reliable connection allows the user to enter credit tokens and obtain information about the meter’s status or real-time energy consumption.
