Our company
SPESCOM Pty was acquired by Siemens, changing its name to Energy Measurements Limited (EML) and later to Siemens Metering Ltd. It then became Landis+Gyr (Pty.) Ltd., part of the Landis&Gyr group.
Cashpower Sudamericana S.A. began by developing software for prepaid meters in Argentina and later expanded its solutions to Peru, Colombia, and Panama. In 2014, the company explored technologies for smart prepaid systems, and in 2016, it partnered with Inhemeter Co. Ltd. (China) to offer advanced prepaid and AMI metering solutions. This alliance enabled adoption in Argentina, leading to an agreement with EDENOR in 2018 to implement 60,000 meters and 200 concentrators.
Thanks to Inhemeter, Cashpower Sudamericana expanded into other markets, such as large-user metering and transformer monitoring. To support its growth, the company invested in new facilities, including offices, a warehouse, and a laboratory for testing and training.
